Puerta de los Siete Suelos, construida en el siglo XIV, por donde se entra a la Alhambra desde el sur. Fue destruida casi en su totalidad, junto con todo este sector de la muralla, en el año 1812 por las tropas de Napoleón en su retirada de la ciudad. En los años sesenta pudo ser reconstruida gracias a grabados y fotografías antiguas. (vía flickr)

A year ago today I left for Granada with these 19 amazing people to spend an unbelievable 4 months in a place we will never forget and never could have been prepared for this time last year. Off to tapas with some of them to celebrate/commiserate. We’ll miss you Liz! (since you’re the only one who reads my blog still)
